Polish-English Translations

After oftentimes referring to things in Polish, I'm growing a bit tired of constantly translating, just in case someone hasn't read a previous post. Therefore, I have created this nifty translation page so that you have an easy access to all sorts of Polish words (phonetically typed out for you as well) I might use in my writings!
I'll be adding onto this page from time to time if I see I've missed a word.

Alphabetical Polish
  • babcia (bahb-cha) - grandma
  • ciocia (cho-cha; the o is shorter than the English short o) - aunt
  • dziadek (jah-deck) - grandpa
  • galeria (gah-lehr-ee-ah) - (rough translation) mall
  • ratusz (rah-tush) - town hall
  • rodzina (ro-gee-nah; short short o) - family
  • rynek (rih-neck) - town square
  • wujek (voo-yeck; "oo" sort of like in book) - uncle
  • zapiekanka (zah-pyeh-kahn-kah) - pizza bread

Note: If anyone has better ways to phonetically type out any word, please tell me! I'd like it to be easily understood.
